You Don’t Need a Blog!

by Jim

Marketing professionals are hearing it everywhere, “You need to be blogging.” Sure, it sounds easy enough. Start a blog and the clients will come pouring in.

The problem is, not everyone can produce a successful blog. Blogs take time. Bloggers need the writing skills to produce quality content, at least a working knowledge of html, and the dedication to post to their blog day after day.

Oh, and don’t forget SEO optimization, site design, comment moderation, spam and all the other complicated problems that can plague a blog. Even then, it may take months or possibly years of pounding away at the keyboard before potential clients even know you’re out there.

Most business people didn’t go into their chosen fields because they want to be journalists. Most want to sell their product or service.

What if I told you there was a way to obtain all of the benefits of an established blog without actually starting a blog? What if I said there was a way to put your name in front of thousands of potential online clients and establish yourself as an expert in the field? Wouldn’t it be great if potential clients could easily find your name in the top search results on Google, Yahoo or any other online search engine?

Thanks to the power of established social media sites, you don’t need a blog to create a successful online presence. By making the most of well established websites, marketing professionals have the ability to place themselves in front of the online client expanding their sphere of influence and building valuable relationships with potential clients.
